We saw the announcement of Call of Duty WW2 during Sony’s E3 press conference and the beta launch date of August 25th.  Now, the beta is official for XBox One as well.

PS4 players will see one additional weekend of beta play, but XBox gamers will get their chance to play September 1st at 6pm BST through September 4th at 6pm BST.

The multiplayer game revealed a return to ground-based combat after wall-running, jet packs, and futuristic weapons.  Sledgehammer Games, the studio developing the game showed off early stages of development, but it seems they are already delivering what many Call of Duty players have been asking for years.

Here’s a look at the multiplayer trailer.

Preorders are open now, and doing so gets you in the beta, so don’t wait.
